I also have to say that i am a pretty new member too, joined in June 08. I also found that in a period of 1 yr now i had no support from any of the medical services. Even though they did my biopsy and colonoscopy and diagnosed me with cc. I was just left to get on with it and told i would see my gi doc in 3 months...god was i furious.
Anyway my point is you will find this site and the wonderful family here so supportive and caring. Tex is an enstein on most subjects relating to cc, lc and various others. I found more help, information and support here within 2 days of joining than i did with the medical docs..
I look forward to reading all the new posts, helping you when i can and sharing information with you all.
