Phone Call from ARGENTINA-birthday-a cute story

Post by barbaranoela »

If U recall---95--first puter--Louie found a chat room--and I sat me down  and made some great friends there also---
One being Fernando from Argentina--the nicest person U could ever meet---put himself thru college and blah--blah--blah~~~

He has a friend---who works for the UN---so quite a few years back Nando came to NYC--visited with Jose-and then we *toured* him around---he stayed with us---spent Easter dinner at Lynn's and Nando was amazed that we included him in a small part of our lives--

I mean --I only knew him from the chat and phone calls---and U can usually pin-point a person---Xcept my son Doug--who figured we were going to be *hacked to death*
Nando and I have been friends all these years---
And to add---this guy took himself all around the city--and even rode the subways ---and the best MEAL he had----*what was it Lou and I asked * Nando replies--The guy who stands on the corner selling the great hot dogs-- Lou and I were hysterical and whenever Nando was out --he always went to the same vendor and they became friends!!!!
Isnt this a great story~~~~~~

The point----he called me last night and sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to me and apologized for being *late*--

U know---I am a very lucky person----friends from my old chat room---and a great family here--

Thank U all
Have a great day

Barbara,

You know what? That story made me a little misty-eyed this morning. You're the world's best at that sort of thing.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
