Guess Who's Going To Be Checking Out Our Website??????

Post by Dee »

HUH!!!!!
My GI's nurse practitioner.
Everything that came out of her mouth I had an answer for!
First she tried to tell me that MC is actually irritable bowel syndrome and I told her "I don't think so!"
Then I went on my way of sharing loads of information to her so I had a card made out with this website and enterolab and she said she is interested in checking them both out!
Way toooooo much to speak of here, but I sure opened her eyes to alot of things!
One being how most GI's don't have a clue when dealing with MC except for handing out all kinds of scripts that help some but not others and then explaining to her about food intolerances.
Laughed all the way to my car!!!

Stop the press...........

Remember, my GI said I could be her test patient for going GF so she doesn't have to have MC patients take meds. Of course, she still had to get in a dig about EnteroLab.

She was too busy to go to their web site but she did let the EL nurse call her. (She gave the nurse a really hard time.)

Dee,

You're just full of surprises, aren't you. You must be pretty good at making "sales pitches". It will be interesting to see how this turns out. If she can get past the anti-GI doc bias here, she may discover a lot of beneficial information. I hope so, anyway, because anytime we can implant the seeds of "enlightenment" in the mind of a medical professional, many, many patients will benefit, over time.

Great work!

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Wayne,

At least one of our members once had a GI doc tell her that MC was nothing to be concerned about, since it wasn't even a fatal disease - "it's just a little diarrhea". Too bad he couldn't experience it for a year or two, himself, so he could see what it's actually like.
