At a meeting today, DH found out from a speaker from a donor organization group that intestines can be transplanted. DH said I'd probably get ones with Celiac.

Joan-----that is a scarey thing to hear but I was just thinking----a few years back---my brother(diabetic and on dialyasis) went to a meeting--(along with Louie,) to a diabetic forum including donor transplants---cus a good kidney (at that time) might have helped him--
I being his sister would have been a perfect match and without hesitation I said *Robert--I will give U one of my kidneys* and when I went to see my GP(who is a renal specialist) and brought up this topic--he looked at me and said *Barbara U cannot give Robert a kidney cus U have a disease!!!* I asked *what disease* and of course he replied MCC
Well do U know how stupid I felt---cus I never thought of *C* as a disease!!!!
Yet--I never went further and asked would it be dangerous for ME or Robert!!!! sadly he wouldnt have been a candidate to receive one--

And I am sure DH spoke out of *fear* and *worry*---am sure there is more to look into--I know some of these meetings can scare the *pants* off one---
