Back from Colorado

Post by ronipow »

I think Emily could have a Hiatal Hernia. I was talking to someone in Co.
There nephew had all the same symptoms as Emily. Perhaps the Endoscopy could have triggered something. She is going in for the Barium test this week, but they are going to put her under.

She already had an ultrasound a couple of months back that revealed nothing. It really does sound like a hiatal hernia. I could be wrong, though.

Was just thinking------sometimes it could be a *SLIDING-HERNIA*

I(among many others) have what I was told, a very common ailment as this Hiatal-Hernia

First time I was checked they saw nothing---
Then I had a broncoscopy and there it was---nice big and healthy
And then had a gascoscopy, to check something else out and my GI commented on *a nice looking Hiatal hernia *

They told me I shouldnt do any type of *stomach crunching Xercizes* but who listens????

Thankfully it doesnt bother me-----so maybe @ times it is sliding up and down???? like a yo-yo!!!
Lets hear how Emily makes out with the testing---and give her a big :bigbighug:

luv Barbara

Colorado is so beautiful. My girlfriend lives in Grand Junction. It is almost on the Utah border. She lives at the base of the National Monument. It is very deserty there. I would love to retire there someday. The population is about 130,000. Small but not too small for my liking. The property taxes are really low there. GJ was rated in the top ten best places to retire. In winter it snows, but you rarely have to shovel as it melts before days end. Not bad.

I had a great time and got some needed rest. Though I did flip around on the Hammoch and fell off. Luckily, I didn't injure myself. Wish I had that on camera, as I would have won, Funniest Home Videos.

Hi Roni

Your trip to Colorado sounds great. I'd love to get away, but not going until the 25th of September. We're going to Quebec and will be visiting family in the Laurentians. I'll have to get my minimal French out of the closet because I never speak it at home (I only took a 1 year course in it and can get along, but it's hard). My husband's cousin doesn't speak English but I really love her and we get along so well that we work really hard at communicating, but I get what I call "French" headaches from concentrating so hard.
I bet it did look funny when you flipped out of the hammock, but glad you weren't hurt. I had a recent flip over on my scooter and did some damage to my foot, which got caught under it, but nothing broken. I bet it did look funny though. My husband was yelling to me, "you're going too
fast - you're going to fall - you fell!!" Then he tried to pull me up and my foot was caught so that was painful to say the least. Anyway, it would have made funniest videos too.

Well, take care on that hammock.

I hope they diagnose and get to treating Emily.

Take care - Momster
