an FLY AWAY ANNIVERSARY today
Good early evening dear friends--
On October 6th-1999 my mom passed away---and if some remember she donated her body --in the hopes that up coming doctors could xperiment and perhaps learn---
Well I have had her ashes, with me, and every morning I would say--*hiya Mom* and maybe have a little chat with her--
She always luved coming to the house cus she luved the flowers--plants--well she just luved the out doors --so today I decided it was time to let her fly---(she hated living in the senior place that we forced her to move into due to the fact that she was a diabetic and wasnt to understanding of what to do when things went wrong-and moving in with us!!!! NO WAY mom said---
SO I went outside and handful by handful I sprinkled mom atop all the shrubs that she luved---and U know I could almost hear a sweet *thank U*---and I know that she is happy---
I looked out the kitchen window and there she is sitting atop the shrubs~~~
I thought---and said---*ya know what mom--its time to let U go* cus I betcha U are tired of sitting in that box and U just wanna be out in the nice ray of sunshine~~~~
Knowing my mom she no doubt said *about time*

ashes
Dear Barbara,
What a heartwarming story! I bet you felt a sense of release when it was done. I`m sure I would have.
My Mom was also cremated and her ashes were scattered by my nephew and I wasn`t even there. Same with my Dad. At least it was done in their favorite spot to spend todether.
I almost had to laugh when I came to the end of your post because my Moms` favorite phrase was always "It`s about time!". Love, Carol
