Hi Angy,

It's good to "see" you again. I've been wondering what you've been up to. I'm glad you haven't been missing due to illness, or anything of that sort.

I'm not sure that I've done any butt-kicking, but at least it seems to be losing interest in me, and it's slowly fading away. (Maybe it didn't like the way I tasted).

lol!! tex  I think its pretty scary that the chances of going into hospital can be devasting, certainly in relation to catching bugs...Most of these docs dont even antibacterial their hands.. which is a bit of a contradiction in comparison to their posters all over the walls...

Ive hd a few bad days but nothing major, appetite has been off and on...been craving choccy lately...love cadburys fudge bars...

My bones and muscles have been doing my head in,,very achy and stiff. Started taking calcium and vit d supplements seems to be helping..I also broke out in a nasty rash which itched like hell..easing up a bit now though..Im beginning to wonder if the mesalazine is causing side effects. My doc reduced them from 3000mg to 2000mg daily(not due to the rash you understand).

But hey ill live lol!!!

Loss of appetite, headache, and back or joint pain are listed as side effects. Skin rash and itching are listed as an allergic reaction, which means that you shouldn't be taking it. I'm kind of surprised that your doctor didn't tell you to stop taking it when you told him about the rash. If you're showing allergic reactions to it, it's not going to help your MC symptoms, either - you're just being punished, for nothing.

Angy,

What brand of calcium supplements do you take and do you think they give you a worse stomach ache? I take the Citracal and my GYN wants me taking like 1500mg a day and I was wondering if it makes cramping worse. They just seem so hard to digest and I've been very bnad about taking them regularly since May when this MC started. I'm paranoid to take anything that might aggravate it.

Thanks tex for confirming that!! Been suspecting these med are possibly causing my symptoms..However been taking them for 4 months and only the past month i have had these symptoms..

I have been using sudocreme for the rash its cleared up a good bit....good cream and cheap to buy..
If the rash gets any worse im certainly seeing my gp to investigate this..
Im working with 2 clients who both have skin rashes ...god!! its probably from them...

Also i am a classical migraine sufferer and possibly getting triggers again...they come and go. So trying to determine if its migraine or alergy to the meds with the headache..

Recently i have had a few little cuts in my fingers...and on different ocassions my thumb an middle fingers swelled really big, almost like an infection. I treated them with tcp antiseptic and it brought the swelling down. I have found using metal nail files aa no-no for me i always seem to get a reaction from them...swollen fingers etc..

Getting a lot of fevers and again could be hot flashes with the "evil" menopause..sigh!!

Im certainly monitoring the mesaza;line Tex...it aint gonna get me!!

Thanks jlh certainly missed talking to you guys!!! but hey!! here i am lol!!! put a message to welcome all newbies too!!

Babsey i just bought the supermarkets own brand. Cant say they have given me gut ache yet... I usuallly take at bedtime with a hot drink...If i remember lol!!
:coffee:
...Morrisons chewable calcium and vit d supplements..

I asked my dumbass gi doc if this was ok to use he said yes shouldnt be a problem. However i have stopped cimitidine and mebeverine tabs..he said to stop them cos i asked about them..Dont even think they bothered to ask me if i was still taking them

God i hate doctors...

If it wasnt for u guys where would i be eh!! :bear:
