Good Morning and Happy 4th to all

Post by moremuscle »

Hi friends,

The 4th of July was my anniversary - married for 14 years to the same wonderful man

My MIL had the kids all night (sleep over) and David and I had the evening to ourselves - we both worked all day until 6 pm. I went out for a short jog before dark and David prepared candle-lit dinner WOW!! We had steaks and a salad and fresh blue berries for dessert. I also had a piece of dark chocolate while watching Tour-De-France afterwards (it will be interesting to see if I have found a chocolate I can tolerate..... cross your fingers, please).

Off to another work day!

I am thinking of all of you - Tessa in particular with her second week of GF living coming up; how are you doing Tessa? Feeling any different in any way? I can't wait to see your test results; they should be only a week or two away now.

Love,
Karen

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Wayne,

Yes, It was a full day - it was great! Thank you, Wayne and I will let you know about the chocolate. I thought of you as I indulged in only two small pieces - you've always said you go all out and eat a lot of something when you are testing so you can see if you get a reaction. Well, I am not that brave

The day before yesterday I bought a bag of Enjoy Life chocolate chips at the HF store because they are allergen free and I figured I would know if I react to chocolate itself if I ate some of those choc-chips. So I did and I did not have a reaction. That's why I got the guts up to actually buying a bar of real chocolate w/o soy lecithin in it. I was so thrilled to be able to find it. If all goes well I will post the results of my trials here so you and other MIs can try it too.

Love,
Karen
