yes, HAPPY FOURTH of JULY----

Post by barbaranoela »

Afternoon dear friends,
Hoping all had a great weekend----
For a change it was just a beautiful one,Xcept I *think* we had one day with a little drizzle---

Anyhoo, our weekend was super :blah:
Lets see, we watched the marathon of 4400---then the Monk marathon and the marathon of the guy who forsees the future--- :sleep2:

U all know Mr. Louie usually watches our neighbors dogs well he now has a NEWER bunch to watch :dog: ---- tooooo funny~~~~~
Our newer neighbors, from BROOKLYN, went away for the day and he asked Lou if he would let the dogs out for awhile---
What they are I havent the foggiest, but they are lovable ---and these people are just delightful and who could REFUSE a BROOKLYNITE!!!!

Also did my good deed and went to visit SIL-----she has such hatred inside of her but wont let me share her sorrow--
We did talk---which I did most of it---and whats to say to soothe a lonley sad person who doesnt know how to open up!!!
So, I did all the mouthing---and she did all the *nodding* and then we both cried but she immediatley *shut* the door :duh:
U know when the time is right to try and I did---she luves me and Lou,she knows Lou always thought of Robert as his brother--not an IN-Law,and Rob knew that---but issue is closed--
Once again, Barbara knows I am here for her and thats where I shall let it be~~~~~

Oh, we also tried some stuff from Omaha Steak company---- :eat:
Was *OK* ----always worth a try----

Off to see the cardio. for regular after surgery check but also to see why he is lightheaded---we think it has to be one of the meds. they have him on OR---it could be my :chef2: 'ing----hahahahaha--
luv U all, Barbara

Hiya Shirl-girl----

I luved your 4th post------I was   so much---
We also assume its the meds-----
My brother's friend was also in the same hospital when Lou was there---but he ran into troubles when sent home----the chest incision became infected and they had to re-open--pack-it(intil it heals) and Marie, his wife, cant bring herself to change dressing so every day back to the hospital
I am surprised they dont send a home care nurse???

Hope U had a good weekend----
luv Barb---PS be careful---dont want U :puke: 'ing or running to the :toilet:

 We just got home and had to check in here.

Hope your brother's friend is better soon. That operation is bad enough without complications!!

My weekend was fine. I feel just a bit nauseous tonight but not bad. I'll be just fine. Don't know why anyway. I didn't eat anything really bad.

Hi Barbara

Post by Momster »

Hope you had a nice 4th also.

Also that everything is okay with Mr. Louie. Sounds like a med related thing, but always best to find out for sure.

John is still working on finding the right meds for his high blood pressure and has good and bad days. Yesterday he was having shortness of breath again and his blood pressure was back up a bit but today he seems okay. Sometimes it goes too low, so go figure. ( think that's caused by the meds). He was diagnosed about 6 months ago and so it's still early in the game. I just have to watch him so he doesn't overdo. He's bad for that.

Well, take care.

Love - Momster

Hi Girls!

Do you think it's all the fireworks and excitement that is affecting the blood pressure and making your men light headed? Just wondering

Sounds like a Happy 4th was had by all and me too - I had steak too  but not the Omaha type. I had a salad too and lots of garlic - fresh blueberries and dark chocolate for dessert with a good cup of strong fresh brewed coffee. AHHHH! All was safe as it was prepared at home by myself and my lovely and adorable husband who also set the tables with our most exotic dishes and lit candles. MIL had the kids and it was a lovely evening :banana2: I just LOVED it.

Shirley, I hope the nausea has already disappeared.

Love,
Karen

P.S. I had my man spinning and he was lightheaded too
