NESTEA info

Post by Tessa »

I want to share the answer sent by NESTEA to me after asking them if their products are GF:

Estimada amiga,

Yes, I know... It is in spanish...
Here is the translation:

Dear friend
Thank you for your message showing your interest in our products. In relation with your request, we inform you that NESTEA does not contain any gluten. Therefore, we think it could be appropriated for Celiacs.

Even though, we always recommend that your doctor authorizes the use of the previous mentioned products.

Kind Regards,

They answered in just one day after my request...

Sounds good to me, like these products are okay. If down the road as you progress with the diet, you think maybe its bothering you, you can try an elimination of just the Nestea product and see if you feel better.

Hey, Tessa!! That is a great response. I hope you find it to be true.

Also, I was able to read and understand most of the message in Spanish!! I can't speak it, but my Italian helps me to understand it a lot.

Hi Tessa

Great response on the Nestea. I was able to understand very little of the spanish. My polish doesn't help at all  Guess I need to start to study my spanish books. :mallet: My brain just doesn't work well most of the time. I'm going to need you to help me out. Love & light, Rita

Wow, I decided to check into the tea I'm drinking, sent them an email and got a response in 15 minutes, a record! Guess I'm going to support them. :)

Anyway the tea is Ten Ren Tea, and here's their response:
Dear Mike Estes:

Thank you for your message. All of our teabag and loose tea products are gluten free and preservative free. Our green teas are 100% dry tea
leaves with no additives or preservatives. We would advise that you stay away from our tea snacks, flavored tea powders, and bubble tea products as they may contain gluten. Please feel free to let us know if you have any questions.

Sincerely,

Letitia
