"No Cheese" Cheesy Crackers

Post by Dee »

1/4 cup Brown Rice Flour
1/4 cup Potato Starch
1/4 cup White Rice Flour
1/2 tsp Xanthan Gum
1/4 tsp Baking Soda
1/2 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
2 Tbl Nutrtional Yeast Flakes
3 Tbl Coconut Oil ,
3 Tbl Toasted Sesame Seeds, Sunflower Seeds, or Raw Pumpkin Seeds
3 Tbl Milk ( rice, or nut)
1 tsp Cider Vinegar
1 Tbsp. Honey

In a medium mixing bowl, combine the flour, xanthan gum, baking soda, salt, onion powder and nutrtional yeast flakes. Add the coconut oil and honey and mix until the dough resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in toasted sesame seed, sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds. Add the milk and vinegar. Shape dough into soft ball.
Grease a cookie sheet and set the oven at 350.

Shape the dough into 20 balls, each 1” in diameter and place on baking sheet at least 2” apart. Using the bottom of a drinking glass , flatten the balls to approximately 1/8” thick.

Bake 10 minutes or until crackers look firm and slightly toasted. Then turn each cracker over and bake another 5 minutes or until golden brown.
