Reading Christine's post just reminded me. In your quest for emoticons have you run across the little fella brandishing his eating untensils that was on the other site. I was looking for him yesterday but didn't find him.

Hi Mars,

I believe the problem has to be in your browser setup, since your emoticons are fully animated on my monitor.

Look for "images" in your browser preferences. (In Mozilla, it's listed under privacy and security). You should be able to find an option that says something like "animated images should loop", and the choices should be something like "as many times as the image specifies", or "once", or "never". Select the first option, "as many times as the image specifies".

That has to be the problem, if graphics are working outside your browser.

Try this:

Go to
Start
Control Panel
Internet Options
Advanced tab
go down to
Multimedia
make sure Play animations in Web pages is checked - if it isn't check and then reboot.

Please let me know if it works.

Peg

Just saw Wayne's post - maybe I'm wrong :pcguru:
