It does take a while for your gut to get used to a changed diet..Even though i have been on asacole for 4 months now im still having bad days, and im pretty strict about my diet...well until i ate cabbage a few days ago...god that set me back big time..made my gut ill..Im recovering a bit now though...4 days later :sad:

I also have nights where i cant sleep, my gut is killin me (even without cabbage lol!!) and i always wake up early hours of the morning..3-4am every night...running to the loo .im starting to get used to it now though...I think it will take time and patience to get a handle on this kat..i know it is hard just now but eventually you will be able to have some control...diet will certainly be beneficial to you gf especially. I found changing to a gf and veg free diet helped me...I just cant cope with veggies at the moment..

Also if you have a concern regarding any physical problem, your doc should listen to you and put your mind at rest...if this aint happening change your doc to one who will listen and not bullshit you...

hope you start to feel better soon :grouphug:

Thanks Angy!

Unfortunately I have to go through my Primary Dr. to see any kind of specialist ~ it's Referral Madness! However, my Primary Dr. is the only one I trust, and would rather her just treat my whole body. I have an appt. with her next Monday. She has been sent all my tests & results and never hesitates to send me for a second opinion.
I've backed off one of my meds. Librax. Since I'm on the 9 Pepto per day as well as Lomotil, I feel so blaaaaaaaa I had to start some where. Librax makes me feel like I have the freakin flu, when taken as prescribed, 4x day. Now only at nite. A day or so ago I thought I was becoming used to that dose until today. Can't find a cave to crawl into, so I'm backing off of it.
I am on a very strict GF diet & very bland items as well! I'm still so "raw" for lack of a better term, I don't want to interrupt any progress that I am making. Key words "I am making progress". 8-10 x day is MUCH better than 20 x. Still loosing weight as well, but not near like I was. Don't get me wrong, I could stand to loose even a few more ;) But wouldn't wish this method to anyone.

OK, no more cabbage for you, for a while. That's some pretty potent stuff even for a "well tummy".

Thanks again & I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

Kat;

I, too, love that avatar!!! :wink: It's the best!

I certainly know what you mean about going from 20x a day to only 10x!!! In my former life, I would have complained about 10x, but I have gone through days when I would have cheered at the thought of only 10 potty trips a day.

Keep up the good work - you are right, "you are making progress"!!!!

Morning...........

Thanks about the Avatar! I kept looking at my sideways " 69 " ~ Cancer symbol, and thought something more on the line of my current situation would be best. Hubby's little gift the other nite inspired me :smile:

Joan: Swollen groin glands are gone! That was happening during my "peak" performances. No doubt due to extreme inflammation. That's what I read somewhere, and certainly makes sense. It is on my list of items to go over with my Primary, and man the list is longer by the day. By the time I leave her office she may send me to the Loony Bin. So if I disappear Monday I'm probably in a padded cell somewhere. Hope their cleaning crew is up for the challenge.................... >> I'm so tacky sometimes.

Feeling great today ~ I slept all nite long! No frequent flyer miles added :lol:

A long long time ago, I had a doc ask me if I didn't think I was taking up too much of his time. :shock: He was recommended by my M-I-L. I NEVER saw him again.

Glad your problem is gone now but do mention it to your doctor.
