Family Turkey Recipe (you may need to alter it a bit)
BAKED STUFFED TURKEY
Here is a turkey recipe that also includes the use of popcorn as a stuffing -- imagine that. When I found this recipe, I thought it was perfect for people like me, who just are not sure how to tell when poultry is thoroughly cooked, but not dried out. Give this a try.
BAKED STUFFED TURKEY
14 - 15 lb. TURKEY
1 cup melted butter
1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is Good.) or GF stuffing
2 cups uncooked popcorn (ORVILLE REDENBACHER'S LOW FAT)
Salt/pepper to taste
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Brush turkey well with melted butter salt, and pepper. Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn. Place in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.
Listen for the popping sounds. When the turkey's ass blows the oven door open and the turkey flies across the room, it's done.
And, you thought I couldn't cook...
HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

P S You should post that recipe on the Main Message Board, also, since a lot of members may not notice it here in time for Thanksgiving.
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Aunt Betty doesn’t understand the physics of her turkey recipe. If the popcorn inside the turkey blows the oven door open, the turkey itself will go in the opposite direction – toward the back of the oven. This is Newton’s 3rd Law of Motion: for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction. It is the same principle on which rockets operate.

Yeah, I know, but it's a lot funnier that way. Sometimes you have to "modify" the laws of physics, in order to suit your purposes. Governments and special interest groups do it all the time.
