Confuser

Post by Peggy »

Well :censored: I got my new Mac mini yesterday and went to set it up last night. I bought the computer, keyboard, and a new mouse. I did not buy a new monitor as the one I have is in perfect working condition, BUT it is so old the connections are not compatible with the new computer. There are no extensions available to make it compatible either :censored: So now the old monitor is just landfill.

I went out and bought a new 17" moniter and some nice speakers to go with it.

My poor pocket book!!! I am being way too good of a consumer.

Hoping to be online at home soon.

Looking forward to seeing your new confuser. I looked at it on the web and it's a cute little guy.
I know what you mean about confusers being painful on the pocketbook. Seems like we always need something more for them and it all costs $$$.
Anyway, glad it finally came in.
Talk at ya soon.

Love - momster :bear:

That's the PITTS! I think they plan it that way.....so you have to spend, spend, spend! I sure gets frustrating when things don't work as planned.

Did you get a flat monitor? We have a 17 inch flat monitor and I love it. So much more room on our desk now, for other things! hehe!

Can't wait till you can join us again from home!

Yep, it's a 17" flat screen - very cool. And, yes, I agree they make computers (and many other things) so they won't be compatible with older equipment

Gaea will be here all weekend so I won't be around too much. I'll be playing tourist guide and showing off my loverly city to her. And maybe just a little :drinking:

Love,

Good Luck, Peg, but I'm sure you don't really need it.

I have a flat screen monitor too and I LOVE IT!! Also, I can actually move it to clean, dust, etc. without any trouble at all.
