Thank you Tex and mc family

Post by JoAnn »

Hi everyone, I found you a little over a month ago, and I can't believe how you've impacted my life in that short time. I'm still learning a lot and trying to process what all this means in my life now. You have given me hope and optimism, a plan of action, and support at every turn. If I hadn't found you, I would be all tangled up in wrong information and wrong treatments. I just want to thank you for sharing your experiences and especially those of you who were the "pioneers" and blazed the trail for those of us who are just now coming on. I can't imagine what this would be like if you hadn't been so generous in giving of yourselves. Tex, you are beyond amazing! Your contribution is immeasurable. Thanks for providing me with a big soft place to land when things are tough and just a fun place to hang out with great people.

That's exactly how I felt when I found this wonderful family in June.
THANK YOU all. You are the best.

It still amazes me every day that you have the answer and the doctors don't.

JoAnn, Joan, and Leslie,

We truly appreciate the kind words. Your remarks remind me of how I felt when I first stumbled across the original board, where the true pioneers here were exchanging experiences, ideas, and support. My initial reaction was, "Wow! These people are just like me!". It took me two weeks of lurking, before I finally got up the nerve to try my first tentative post. I was a lost stranger, but they welcomed me with open arms, and their kindness and consideration totally blew me away. From that point on, my life and my outlook, were forever changed.

My contributions to this site aren't really all that significant - it's all the members, (especially the pioneers), who are willing to share their time, their experiences, and their loving support, who bring life to this site. Without them, this would be just another website.

Thank you, for being one of those great people who come here, and who make this all worthwhile.

Tex

Tex,

I am with Shirley on that statement.

Being here from way back in the beginning on the old board has given me solutions, hope, support, honesty, encouragement, laughs, a sense of people who know how it and and lastly but most importantly, FAMILY!

Love and a BIG Thank You to Everyone, Maggie

I just want to chime in here with my thanks, too. I'd be completely lost without this board and the MC family I've found here. And Tex, your contributions are very significant!

I also appreciate everyone on the board and all of your contributions - especially Tex who does a fabulous job maintaining the board and explaining complex issues so we can understand them.
