Another Paleo Blog
Hey all !
Found this link on Elizabeth's blog.
Lots of good ideas if you click on “Recipes” in the right hand column.
http://www.sonofgrok.com/
Of course the recipes won’t work for everyone but I love new ideas and over the years a tweak in diet here , a change their, a new idea from some place else and then tweaking it all over again and adapting anything I come up with has kept me feeling good.
And needles to say, an unending exercise in kitchen creativity.
Nothing wrong with that.
Hope this inspires .
Love
Matthew
P.S. Son of Grok. Love the name. May be a neighbor in the cave next to mine. :-)

Hi Matthew!
Interesting Blog!!
You may have over looked it on the forum index page, but Tex took the time to make an area for people with MI's .
Nobody has posted there yet, but we're hopeful that someone will soon..
Curiousity has gotten the best of me when wondering what exactly do you eat on a daily basis????

Dee,
When I set up those new forums, I locked them so that no one could post before we decided how we wanted them finalized. I was hoping that Polly, Matthew, and anyone else interested in them, would add their input on exactly how we should go about this, but I haven't heard any opinions from Polly, since the day she brought it up.
So what do you think? Should I just unlock them, and see what happens, and reorganize them later, or wait for some input? If no one has even noticed that they're locked, it's probably going to be tough to accumulate any significant amount of posting there. Forums aren't worth much, if posting only occurs sporadically.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Hi Tex!
I guess I'd wait a little while for some input, but if nobody posts under them, I'd eliminate them .
I've just been curious to see what they eat on a daily basis and hoping that they would provide information for others who have found that they have MI's.
We know that when one has to modify their diet from eating normal to a restricted one, how overwhelming it can be starting out and hearing first hand from the ones with experience with their MI diet would sure be a big help to them.

Hi Polly,
That sounds good to me. However you feel this should be arranged is fine with me. If you would like to see the names of these forums, or the descriptions, (or anything else, for that matter), changed, please let me know, and I'll take care of it.
Are you referring to the occasional posts about what we ate on a particular day, IOW, the threads listed in the sixth post in this thread?
http://www.perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=8354
If so, I can go through those and move the ones that are suitably MI oriented, into the new forum, if you want. If those are the wrong ones, please point me in the right direction.
I suppose I should move a copy of Jean's lists for gluten, caesin, soy, and corn, into the second forum, so they can be easily found.
Love,
Tex

Like Dee, I'm really interested to see what others with MI are eating. I'm finding out more and more I'm sensitive to and my list of things I can eat is getting smaller and smaller. I don't want to feel like I'm eating the same things over and over again -- don't want to create MORE food allergies for myself.
Here are some examples of what they're eating:
