Looking For Some Fresh 'SAFE' recipes

Post by RobinB »

I'm new to here and my main thing has been trying to find good recipes without milk, soy or gluten. I stumbled on one with just a few but they're good ones at http://www.daxrich.com/colitis-eat-well-anyway-ha-2/ Anybody know of others? I'm sort of tired of the same-old/same-old and afraid to stray too far. Thos flares are no fun. Thanks.

Hi Robin,

Welcome to our internet family. I believe that this site has just about anything you might need, to get your life back. Here are hundreds of delicious, gluten-free, dairy-free, and soy-free recipes:

http://www.perskyfarms.com/phpBB2/viewforum.php?f=7

Dee is a professional chef, who has microscopic colitis, and she is currently writing a book which will presumably contain most or all of these recipes.

Please feel free to ask anything. Again, welcome aboard.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hey Robin,

If you let me know what kind of recipes, (sweets, main dishes, etc) I'll try and help. I don't eat gluten or dairy either.

Marsha

PS Some of them are in the recipe catagory already I think

:welcome: Robin, we're glad you found us.

Thanks for that link.

Just curious, how did you find your intolerances?

Discovered my three main foods to avoid through trial and error. Still not totally certain about a couple others including peanut products. Probably will wait to test until the current national peanut scare is over.

Good for you.

Did you check out all of Dee's wonderful recipes? Be sure to look at her Yule Log. AMAZING.
