Hi Dee,

Thanks for the link. Unfortunately, that's one more "medical" website that has never heard of MC, but that seems to be the rule, so I don't know why I would even bother to bring it up.

I've never seen the RA associated with IBDs discussed as being distinct from the more conventional form of RA, but I'm glad to see that the article covers the main question that I had about it. IOW, I've always wondered if I really had true RA, because my symptoms were always one-sided, and that's "off limits" with conventional RA. According to that article, clearly, my RA is due to MC, which makes sense to me, since it started back when I was still young enough that the normal version shouldn't have been getting started, yet.

So, that's one more autoimmune disease clearly linked with MC. Some experts claim that MC itself, is technically not an autoimmune disease. My response to that is, "Then why does it cause so many other autoimmune issues?" If it quacks like a duck, etc, etc.

Thanks again, for the link.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
