Has not been boring to say the least.
1. Brother in Law in Ga. is having heart problems (again).
2. We had another bear in the yard but didn't see him until he was leaving. This one was BIG
3. I'm on pins and needles because of "Dennis". Headed straight for my son and his family. They are in the catagory of idiots who didn't leave. Funny, he's so sensible most of the time. They were there for Ivan last year also.
4. Amidst all this I'm supposed to be getting ready to leave for Florida on Wednesday for 2 1/2 weeks.

Dang, I have to agree--your life is certainly not boring. Maybe you can "get away from it all", and actually get some rest when you get to Florida.
I hope you can enjoy the trip.
Love,
Wayne
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
You musta got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning. Sorry to hear about your brother in laws heart problems. Scary. Wondering where your son lives in Fla? The storm looks terrible- watching it today on FOX news. The Keys lucked out again, on this storm but there's lot's of cleanup. My brother is in Big Pine.
Hope your bears don't become further problems for you. We have them around us here as well but they don't seem to come around homes unless garbage or something foodwise attracts them. Perhaps you could get yourself some bearspray just to be safe.
Shirley-----if the keys get in my way once again---thats it~~~
Anway---as I was saying----hope your BIL is ok----and that your vacation to Fla. will be one of R and R---
This morning we heard that the peoples which are in the path of the big WIND wont leave cus they are tired of packing and fleeing!!! So they will ride out the storm---hope they dont ride out WITH the storm---
My daughter Lynn has a bear that keeps coming around her area also---One morning the girls heard some noise and they watched as this bear sniffed around and then it took off--
The prettiest is when we have seen deer on her property---they are so graceful--
Stay peaceful cus kids will do as they will do!!!! Right???
THANK GOD...Mike and family are fine. No electricity, but the phone is still working. Even the house is OK. They made out much better with Dennis than with Ivan. I am so grateful.
BIL went to the hospital Friday night but is home now and doing better.
Now, maybe I can start my "preparations" again for my trip.

Gee Shirley...Do you have any Xannax? Wow...I bet you are worried. I worry everytime one of those storms goes up the east coast as My sister is in NC. I certainly hope your family gets better and your son is safe through the storm. I'll keep all of you in my prayers tonight. Love Oma
I'm happy to hear your family in Fla. is okay. We don't get that kind of weather here in BC, but have had one or two hurricanes in my lifetime and they were nasty. I remember one night sitting up all night holding a mattress against the picture window to prevent it from breaking. It worked, but we sure were tired in the morning.
