Is there an option to change this? It's mostly found in the profile settings, but I don't see it. I like reading threads backwards, that way the newest posts are always on first page.
I can live with it this way, but if it's an option I'd like to have it when you get time. :)
Thanks,
Mike
How do we change the sort order preference in threads?

You know Mike,
I remember ok'ing the default option for sorting during setup, but I don't remember where I ran across it, and now I can't even find any information on it. I don't see it in the FAQs, nor do I see in in the documentation for the bulletin board operation and managment. I don't see it in the admin panel, nor the profile panel.
It is, however, set up to list newest posts on top, just as you requested. The reason they might not appear that way is because the two posts on top have either "announcement" , or "sticky" status, which keeps them on top. I wanted to be sure that everyone had a chance to see them, and some folks don't log on every day. I'll remove the sticky status later today. Look at the posting times on all the other threads below those two, to see what I mean.
My mailbox has been pretty busy lately, so posting things like that helps a lot. I can't get anything done when I'm constantly answering e-mails about the same things, and I still have a lot of things to do to get the board set up the way we want it.
I moved your "journal" thread to the Journals room, and left a shadow in its original location on the Message Board, so that anyone can find it if they are looking for that thread. If you see anything about the move that needs to be changed, (such as the new title, etc., please let me know).
That "sorting order" option will probably turn up soon or later, but I'll have to accidentally stumble across it, since I can't seem to find it on purpose. LOL.
