Tears in my eyes...

Post by mjbonsais »

Our pets are family members. They need love and care and I think your dog knows how you feel, they have senses that are innate. I love animals and nature and we will be judged as to how we have cared for all creatures. Look at all the memories our friends give to us without condemnation, jealousy, greed- just respect and love.

I hope you don't mind my being a bit religious here and now. St. Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals and he's listening to a prayer this very moment for the both of you.

Big 'Ol hug from me to you hon,

MJ

Amen, Mary Jo.

Very well said. I also believe that dogs have innate senses and know somehow when we are trying to help them be free from pain and misery.
You can just tell by the way they look at us with those soulful eyes.

And we shouldn't forget that our pets may actually be in much more pain than they let us know. In the wild, an animal cannot show any signs of weakness, so they are masters at disguising the true extent of their suffering.

Love,

Polly
Blessed are they who can laugh at themselves, for they shall never cease to be amused.

Without a doubt----they know when its time---my neighbor just put their little guy to sleep----and 2 days they had another of the same breed---cus Archie was missing his pal Shorty---and now Jack is his little brother

While in AZ---my son had to put one of his to sleep and Junior always hung near me----this is the dog that the neighbor was abusing so Doug and Lori took him in---
When the day came Junior knew and it was not a pleasant time for any of us---
Doug would say---here comes Grandma & grandpa and Junior was there waiting for us--

Just had to add my feelings --cus we had 3 daschunds(spelling) and I remember how we felt when their time was nearing~~~~~

good night dear friends
luv Barbara
