The tiny postage stamp town along the banks of the mighty Sacramento river, Locke. Built in the early 20th century by chinese immigrants. They came originally to help build the twisting winding leveees of the Delta, then as that work finished then migrated to farm labor around the reclaimed lands of the Delta, especially pear orchards near the Sacramento river towns of Walnut Grove, Freeport, Isleton, Rio Vista. Its a uniquely beautiful area, still much of it the way it was 50 years ago.

the floor rises front to back by at least 3 ft in this old gaming palor, plus the slope side to side, I am amzed the building are still upright.

I don't think you'll find a better steak outside of Texas than you will at "Al the Wops"

Nice tour - I don't think I could talk myself into entering some of those buildings, though. They don't look very sturdy.
