Kylee is great!

Post by Umber »

Went home from the hospital Sunday afternoon. Monday she was up and running. How can kids recover so quick?! A check from the doctor today and she is good. They gave her shots needed for school this year and she told them "no thank you. I already had shots at the hospital."

I am taking her to AZ with me next week. Can't wait! I am thrilled to get her for a whole week. I am sure to be chopped liver once she gets with my neices and nephew. We are going to have fun! We have tickets for the Botanical Gardens in Phoenix. The Chihuly exhibit is there and I can't wait to see his work. Then up to cooler temps in the mountains where my Mom retired.

As for Ashlee, they sent her home from the hospital too. She wanted to come to our house and we had to let her know it wasn't an option. She is building a support system that doesn't include us. I feel okay with that, I can't participate in this cycle of behavior anymore. I am spent!

I just heard back from a psychologist who specializes in family counseling for addiction. It looks like he has a time slot for me. I hope we can work it out. I am ready to move forward!

Hugs to all!

Lori,

That's great news.

Thanks for the update, and I hope the trip is non-stop fun.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
