I love my Entocort, too. I am on DAY 12 and feeling so much better it's just ridiculous they didn't think of this sooner! It took me a full week of Entocort for the diarrhea to stop, but it has not returned at all. I am so happy! It's just weird to be taking pepto at the same time, since it turns the BMs black. Very bizarre.
By the way, I have had those Kinnikinic Donuts and they are addictive and wonderful. I am allergic to egg whites, too, but the donuts and other baked things with eggs have no effect on me. Eating raw eggs is a problem (no egg nog!) and immunizations are a HUGE problem due to the egg white. I have a reaction to every single shot. It's awful.
I have noticed that in the Northeast (greater NY City metro) that Whole Foods does not carry Kinnikinic. However, their products are carried at other natural food stores, such as Mrs Greens Natural Market, Nature's Temptations grocery stores, and other local places. YOu can also order direct from the company or at many of the GF marketplaces on the Internet.

That's great news on the results you're having with Entocort. It's an excellent product, for most people who need it.
I remember trying Pepto for about a week or ten days, early on, before I finally gave up and went to see a doctor, and that's the main thing that I remember about it too - in my case, it turned clear water into black water.
It's very interesting how more and more people are reporting that they can eat eggs in baked goods, even though they are either allergic, or intolerant to them, otherwise. Thanks for adding your experience with eggs to our "information base".

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
