I need some sympathy!!!
OUCH
I have a toothache I see the dentist today at noon
It hurts!!!! One of my back molars. I would have stayed home and not come to work but the stupid plumbers aren't finished yet - they still have drywalling and painting to do .
At least I can be thankful it didn't happen while Gaea was here or I think I would have been a pretty lousy hostess!
OUCH
whine, whine, whine!

Toothaches suck for sure. I know you're not a big fan of dental work in general, but hopefully the session will go smoothly, and minimize the pain ASAP. If the pain gets out of hand before the appointment, some of those OTC remedies work pretty good for temporary relief.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
Oh, Pegster , toothaches are the worstest, as bad as earaches. But I even hate the feeling after you have had freezing in your mouth too, to me that feels just as bad. There is just nothing nice about teeth problems. so
This might make you feel better though. One of Mels friends is at school taking acting and does stand up comedy at Yuk Yuk's and was in the movie "Mean Girls: with LInsay Lohan. So looks are important when you are in the public eye or trying out for a part. (oh, she was the girl in the wheelchair in the movie by the way). Anyway, my Mel works for the student athletic association during school, and all year culminates in a banquet that they put on. And her friend came to it but was there for only a short time, enjoying the music, dancing when she slipped on a drink someone had spilled on the floor. She went head first onto the floor, crushing the bone between your nose and your lip, so nothing was keeping all her top teeth in place and they all got pushed up into her nasal cavity. Can you believe it, they had to perform emergency surgery to try and save the teeth and repair the bone. She now needs two years of reconstruction surgery before the dental part finally is done and she is back to looking like her old self. Well, I mean she still looks the same, but she is always covering her mouth because her teeth look horrible now, but the bone has to heal and she has to wear braces now. She had perfect teeth before.
She is still doing stand up comedy and Mel showed me a video of her most recent show and she used the entire incident. And she had me rolling on the floor laughing.
This is not to minimize what you are gong through mind you, its just I am bored, needed to do something and thought what the hell I will tell you a story to get your mind off the freaken pain. But it is a true story.

Hope all goes well with the dentist and the pain stops, nothing worse than a tooth ache.
See you are the perfect hostess, not only did you pull the weather thing off (as well as everything else) but you even had the ol tooth hold off until after I was gone.
here's a big hug for you, take care (((((((((( ))))))))).

Drat, drat, and triple drat!!!!!
Thank you all so much for your kind words. And Wendy WHAT a story.
Sadly I have to have the tooth pulled tomorrow I broke this molar a number of years ago on a bone in a chicken sandwich. They crowned it and then had to do a root canal. Well it seems I've broken something down below...what did it I have no frickin' idea. I'm on the antibiotics and percocet - the pain is almost too much to bear but the med should kick in any minute now. So tomorrow I have to have it yanked then they will do a bridge
Sadly Lori my dentist is nothing to write home about and does not in any way distract me from what is going on. I shall have VERY sore hands tomorrow because I will be CLENCHING them the whole visit.
<sigh> Off to suck some soup through a straw - I haven't eaten yet today.
