Well, at least it was GF! I cheated with a real pizza ( this was a long time ago). I would recommend taking the imodium but not "in case", take it ahead of time, eat before you go to the party and be careful what you eat.

Kat,

If you had a reaction to the GF pizza, you may very well be intolerant to dairy - but maybe you already know that.

So many of the GF foods are off limits to a lot of us because they also contain dairy or soy. :???:

I went to a wedding reception last night and they had a great buffet. I knew I wouldn't be able to eat any of it, so I ate at home first. I didn't even drink the punch because it had orange juice in it. I did eat some of the fresh fruit salad, and I had a little reaction today.

When I went to a wedding shower a couple of weeks ago, I made a sandwich on GF bread and took it and potato chips along. That's usually my standard practice. Unseasoned hamburgers and potato chips should be OK this weekend.

Hi Gloria -
I am not sure about the dairy intolerance. I just think my gut is so inflammed right now, I am going to react to ANYTHING that isn't basic food. I tried Lundberg Organic Rice Chips yesterday, too, and I have terrible right side pain today. So, I am heading to PALEO DIET land this week to get this thing healed :) I have followed PALEO before, and I will do it again!

I agree; Paleo sounds like your best bet. If you've followed that diet before, you should be able to do it again. Good luck!

It's all about will-power... and remembering how much my gut will hurt TOMORROW if I eat 'X" tonight....
