Hi Jeannine,

To the best of my knowledge, only one member has ever posted about trying LDN, and that member is Beverly. One other member was contemplating trying it, Mike, (mle_ii), but he never posted that he actually tried it, and he hasn't logged into this site in over a year.

Here is what Beverly said about it, (7 months ago), and there are links in this thread to many of Mike's comments about it, also:

Another member e-mailed me, asking about LDN, about two weeks ago, so I e-mailed Beverly, to try to find out if the treatment was still working for her. She replied that unfortunately, it no longer seems to help with her MC symptoms, though she continues to take it, anyway, for another reason, (MS). Unfortunately, Beverly has a number of autoimmune issues, so she is restricted in her treatment choices, and cannot use Entocort, for example, because it is contraindicated when LDN is being used. She originally started taking the LDN after she was diagnosed with MS, and she discovered that disassembling the capsules improved the effectiveness, and also relieved the symptoms of MC.

Maybe someone else has tried it, and will post about their experiences.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
