I still get fatigued and the many years with this disease it has only become a little bit better. I am chalking it up to just getting older but wish I was 40 again.

Love, Maggie

Hi there,

My thyroid was already removed before my M.C. diagnosis. I'm sure when it had been low before treatment (surgery and monitored thyroid hormone replacements), that it contributed to my fatigue, but I still had tremendous fatigue when my thyroid levels were back to normal. I actually got even worse during the next year after the thyroid issue was no longer a problem.

My fatigue gradually got better once I eliminated all my other symptoms by going gluten free (adding the other foods to remove a few months later). I had some pretty bad symptoms, so since those left me fairly quickly, I was content to just wait out the healing after being assured it would take about 6 months for the fatigue to leave. Sooo...I just forgot about it, and enjoyed not hurting anymore, and one day just woke up to realize that the fatigue was all gone. Now, I just feel old, but not 105 yrs old like before! Ha!

Hope this helps!
Yours, Luce
