Hi CARA,

So good to see you found this place. It's really super, I just wish I could visit more often and read more thoroughly, but lately, it's been just here and there.

You won't remember me because I never posted at the old BT/celiac site, but I did exchange a few e-mails with Anne of Little Rock a few times a few years ago. Then, I actually introduced myself to her when my sister and I took my mom in a wheelchair up to Dallas for Dr. Fine's presentation at that big hotel thingie. That was sooo much fun! It was sooo funny when I introduced myself between sessions because Anne hadn't the faintest idea who I was at the time, and I don't even think she remembered my real name, even though I'd used it when I e-mailed her in the past. Only way I knew who she was was that I'd read her name on her name tag.

I just felt like I knew her really well from reading that site alot when I first found it. Perhaps I'll send you my official name (Lucy/Luce is my nickname) on the private message thingie if that's still in operation here. Is it Wayne?

Cara, I don't remember how I found it, but at one time, I did read that ya'll had set up a site that I interpreted then to be an alternative until the old site and celiac section was up and running again. Is this the same one, still going strong? I'm going to have to have a look.

Good to finally "get to meet you" on a board, even if I was just a lerker on the BT site. I so much enjoyed your contributions as well. Hope you'll post often, and maybe PM me sometime. I'm about to see if I can still PM, so be looking for one here from me pretty soon.

Yours, Luce

Hi Luce,

Sure, the PMs should always work.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Sorry Lucy, I missed this post until just now... but I did answer your PM!

I'm still amazed at the coincidence of your message coming in on the very day Anne was passing through WI, and she was sitting right next to me while I read it!

I've been slowing working my way through the various areas here... sorry that I never saw this until now!
