Potential new medication for IBD??

Post by Gayle »

Hi All,

Has anyone else seen this today?

Interesting!

Looks as though this potential drug for IBD is still only being referred to by its assigned compound number. It may be a while before Clinical Trials?

Worth watching?

And yes Tex, notice here that they finger a particular protein as a suspected offending agent in IBD. I think I recall a recent post you made also commenting on protein as a suspected trigger agent?

:dog:

Cheers,
Gayle

Hmmmmm. Yes, that does appear to be promising. It will be interesting to see where that research leads.

Thanks for posting those links,
Tex

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
