Tomorrow is the day huh?
Well...everyone say a prayer that whom ever finds us is a team player and a good potential family memeber....I hope our board stays as homey, warm and friendly as it has been from the start. We are such a loving bunch and so supportive.....We rarely hurt each others feeling and then not on purpose. You would think we were all blood related...in fact blood relations fight and we don't fight here...thank God! This is one place we can count on to come to for solace and support,we come here for a pat on the back and a hug when our lives are falling apart and we get all those things everytime un-conditionally. Thank you Tex for putting it together..because we would have all been depressed and falling apart with out this board. Thank you all of you for being the kind supportive souls you are. I feel as if you are all my family...sometimes more than my own blood family. Love to you all Oma
May I be more compassionate and loving than yeterday*and be able to spot the idiots in advance
Thanks Oma,
The board is just a place to meet. As you pointed out, it's the members who make it such a wonderful place. We are indeed a very special group of people, and we're so lucky to have found each other.
Love,
Wayne

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Hi Oma,
You said it wonderfully.
Another thought and something my mother used to say - "You can pick your friends but you can't pick your family." How true. This is definitely more a family to me than any family has ever been.

Well, as I used to say, we couldn't have done the other Board or this one without you. The people who come in everyday and say their thing and make their comments and are so loving and POLITE, make it work.
On the other hand, Wayne and all the moderators, you have done a much better job than I did. For one thing you have better software. And YOU are in control.
This is the best group of people I have ever met in my life and I am hoping that it stays that way!!
Lots of love,
Sally

What lovely and sincere sentiments. I completely agree and couldn't say it better.
When I found you I was coming off a terrible year that, in addition to being very emotional, involved a great deal of travel between NYC, Los Angeles and Boston. First my stepmother died and I had to handle everything as my dad was ill; serious surgery for my wonderful son-in-law; cancer scare for my husband; sprained ankle that developed complications and left me flat on my back in the hospital for a week. And then my dad died. Soon after I came down with LC. I felt very alone with this disease until I found you in April.
You have been a godsend each and every one.
Love,
Carrie

This is such a heart warming post - Oma, you said it beautifully and Wayne, the butterfly is cute and lovely just like Sally; your board was great, Sally - it was where I found all of you and all the help and support I needed.
I am looking forward to greeting newbies to this board together with all of you; we know they need us just the way WE needed each other back when we were so ill and scared with MC.
Unfortunately, I have the feeling it will take a little while before people are able to find us; we will see - we are ready, right!!
Love,
Karen
