Hi friends,

I can't leave the computer before I've made another response - you are all very huggable :grouphug:

There is so much to say about the diet and what to do and not to do but I will spare you LOL!! I know you've had much too much of a good thing from me already....... I will probably say a little more about the diet again one day, given an opportunity

Oh, Polly and Joyce - I am training. I remember your responses to my posts about running, Polly and how you had been squatting in your neighbors yard just like I had to myself in order to take care of business - you made me laugh while the tears were rolling down my cheeks. I cried so much back then - I cried so much the first half year of dealing with MC; it was WAY too much to handle for a little person like me

I am training for a 10K - I know; it's a long run, it is 6.2 miles. And I have never run that far before except a couple of times in the last few weeks. I have been building it up over a long time. It is my goal to run a 10K in a race in April in Cahrleston, SC - the Cooper River Bridge run. If you've been to Charleston or seen pictures of Charleston you will have seen the bridge. I am looking forward to it - it will be a big event for me. I wish I had a training partner to run with and prepare with; but for now, it is just me.

Before the Cooper River Bridge race I hope to participate in a couple of 5Ks locally in the fall when the temperatures start to drop.

Love,
Karen

Karen and Joanna
Just wanted to add my conglutenations, congratulations with the emphasis on gluten. Was just thinking that the first year was a real revelation for me . Having always been at least a bit food conscious and more so as a primary care giver I did a lot of about faces in that time. The discovery that it was not just Gluten was certainly a revelation.

The second year has been just as interesting with a lots of smaller victories thanks to being here. I look forward to learn along with you in the next year. Thanks for all your help.

Matthew

Karen- Hope you are sleeping better. It has been so hot here. Not good for sleep nor is listening to the fans all night. Maybe it is because I don’t dare ride in 95+ heat that I spend a good part of the night wide awake. This to will pass.
