Very important - especially for those "oldbies" -

Post by CAMary »

I just spoke with Sally's son, Michael. Our fearless leader and founder of the original "Potty People" site so many years ago passed away this weekend

For those of you who did not have the pleasure of meeting this amazing lady in person, what a personality you missed!! She hosted many of us several years back for a weekend of fun, laughter, potty humor and great food. What an amazing spirit as well as talented gardener and lover of all creatures she was!

Michael is trying to work through her address book, and he is aware of the "potty people", but wasn't sure how many direct contacts she has. He asked me to inform everyone of her passing.

Please remember her in the same spirit in which she lived... :dog: :cat: :cat: :toast:

Love,
Mary

I justed posted a similar message before I saw yours. Michael called me also. Has anyone notified Polly? I was just thinking about Sally and the old Potty People group. Sally helped many of us, but she doesn't even know how helpful she was to me through an especially difficult time. She always had such a great attitude.

Good memories.

Yes, Sally was certainly a great and wonderful lady - a pioneer in MC discussion and support. We all owe a lot to her, for her efforts. If it weren't for the inspiration that she provided, this board wouldn't exist.

If anyone needs additional details, I believe that Barbara has Michael's e-mail address, which you can obtain by PM'ing her.

Morning All,

Without Sally I would still be lost in the wilderness with this disease, She was there for me and comforted and helped me through many a rough time. Through the years we kept in touch even after she left our group - for her comfort and because she had other paths in life. I will miss her so, so much.

Namaste Sally - a true and real friend.

Love, Maggie

I never knew Sally. But, from what I read in these posting she was a founding spirit of what has become "The Potty People".

So, she will live on through this board forever! Her spirit will be here up to and beyond the time when this disease is finally conquered. Ant

Has anyone told Shirley about Sally? She hasn't posted lately and I've been a little worried about her.

I'll always be grateful to Sally for starting the old board. I never knew her, but I found the old board before I found this one and could tell that the members were so appreciative that she was there to help them.
