61% Of Children With IBS Have Fructose Malabsorption

Post by tex »

Hi All,

Here is a link to the details of a study currently being conducted on a cohort of children who show the symptoms of IBS. The study involves the use of the FODMAP diet:

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Very interesting...I'll be anxious to hear the results of the study. I'm impressed that they have even considered fructose and IBS to be connected. We are making progress.

The researchers do seem to be making headway. Now if the doctors will just take note of the trend.
