Johns Hopkins Collagenous/Lymphocytic Colitis Registry

Post by Carrie »

Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland is compiling a registry of those who have been diagnosed with Collagenous or Lymphycytic Colitis. This is for future research and there is no obligation - you can decide later whether or not to participate in actual trials. To view their GI research page click here http://hopkins-gi.nts.jhu.edu/pages/lat ... ease=29#20 .

I feel it is important to let Johns Hopkins know we are here! I have registered and encourage you to do so. Simply mail or fax your name, address, phone number and a copy of your biopsy to:
Francis M. Giardiello, MD
Division of Gastroenterology
Johns Hopkins Hospital
1830 East Monument St., Suite 431
Baltimore, MD 21205
Fax (410) 614-8337

If you wish to speak with someone in Dr. Giardiello's office, phone (410) 955-2635. His current assistant, Linda, is very helpful.

I have no idea whether or not that registry is still ongoing, but I notice that they have removed their e-mail address, though their phone number is still there.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
