This study was done on Americans, but I wonder just how widespread this attitude actually is, in the developed world. This sounds more like a "human nature" thing, rather than just an American thing, though I'll grant you, we are undoubtedly the undisputed world champions. I'll bet that we don't have the market completely cornered on this attitude, though.
In the meantime, you guys try to get your act together, and your ducks in a row, and all that good stuff, and try to adopt some of my healthy lifestyle patterns.
