Omega-3 Oils Linked With Slowing The Ageing Process
It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Tex, I sure wish that I could consume omega 3 oils. It seems counter-intuitive, but every time I try out fish oil or flax oil supplements, even being sure that they are gluten/dairy/soy/corn free I very quickly deteriorate. I've tested this 3 times, most recently a month ago, and still can't tolerate them. And I don't know if it's mental or not, but I really don't enjoy eating fish and get loose stools whenever I do. I'm also convinced that fish and flax oils were responsible for my original flare last May, because I started healing immediately once I stopped all my supplements. I guess it's just one of those individual quirks, and I hope that sometime in the future I'll heal enough so that I can take them again. They have so many benefits............
The good news from that other news item you posted is that I should be fine eating all the animal fats I want...

Hmmmmmmm. That's a bummer for sure. It's difficult to say what's at the bottom of that, but if your body says you can't tolerate them, then there's no point in arguing with it. I'll bet that after a year or so, the verdict will be different.
