Entocort and Harry Potter

Post by Sally »

It's been a week now since I cut back on my dosage of Entocort. Instead of taking 2/day I now take 2 one day and 1 the next. I am going to stay here for a couple of weeks and then reduce to 1 a day. And so on. So far so good.

Also, I finally gave in and while I was at Target yesterday I bought the first two in the Harry Potter series. I am on page 3 of the first one and I am enjoying it very much!!!!   Really, I will stick with them.

Lots of love to everybody,

Sally

I can't get in to the Potter series, but hope you enjoy it!

I took the Entocort for a while - only 6mg per day - and it took about ten days and worked really well. I gradually went off of it and tried to reinstate the Asacol with no luck. The Asacol isn't doing a darn thing for me any more, except making me queasy which it never did before. I was off the Entocort for a while but then started having the same old problems - lots of grumbly rumblies and D. I'm taking 3mg a day right now and hoping it'll *kick* back in but it's not going too well <sigh>.

One day at a time, one day at a time.

Love you!

Yeah, if I hear or feel any tummy rumblings I'll go back up. I remember when you went off Asacol. You were here and just barely made it home before all hell broke loose. As it were.

It's a nasty game we have to play.

Lots of love,

Sal

Hi Sally,

When I say your subject line, I thought for sure that Harry Potter had been diagnosed with MC, and was now taking Entocort. Hahahahaha.

Love,
Tex

Well, Wonderful on both counts. Hope your tummy does well, and you enjoy the Potter books. I'm sure you read quickly so you'll chew right through them...once into 'em, I bet you can't put them down.
