MC and Stress

Post by Issy »

Speaking for myself, I think that many of my MC attacks over the past few years might be attributed to stress as much as diet.

Last night I had a severe attack and I know it was directly related to stress.
When I heard that the health care bill would indeed pass, I barely made it to the bathroom whereby I had one of the worst MC attacks I have had since I was diagnosed three years ago.

Without getting too personal or political, I am a small business owner who has been struggling to avoid laying off any of my employees this past year. However, I now know that this bill will have a very detrimental effect on (not only) the welfare of my business, but also the welfare of my employees. Unfortunately, I will have to let some employees go and it is creating a huge amount of stress in my life at this time.

I now realize this ongoing battle I have been having with acid reflux since this past December and now this most recent MC attack is due to stress.

So if you are dealing with MC.....make changes in your diet.....but also be sure to try and not let stress get the better of you.
