Well, we made it home....

Post by CAMary »

Got back just a few hours ago - plane ride home was awful (grumpy jerk in front of my son accused him of "shaking his seat the whole d!*@* plane ride" whatever - the guy next to us was very nice and told me the kids were really good - and wondered what that guys' problem was...couple of bitchy flight attendents too - so I am happy to not fly for a long time!!

Survived 10 days with in-laws and extended family - had fun and best of all my tummy behaved despite serious overeating  My boys both caught their first big fish and got to play with most of their 17 cousins on that side!!

We met Christine and Trent and Jake and Hunter for lunch yesterday - it was fun - and good food too!! I'll have to read the thread below and see what's up...I wondered what was new around here and she said she'd been too busy to check things out with changes at work etc...she's a tiny little thing - but she can pack away the food!! Her boys were very well behaved (we left my kids w/ grandma & grandpa -the boys swam and Elyse took a nap) Trent and Mike talked some about cars and motocycles and stuff - it was fun - always sort of interesting when it involves meeting someone you don't really "know" but have been in communication with!

I've got lotsa reading to do and dinner to make - so I'll check in later....No urgent emails, so I assume "going public" went off without a hitch?

Welcome *home* Mary

Sorry you had a lousy flight - They usually aren't good, but yours sounded exceptionally bad

Glad to hear your tummy didn't act up  we all know what a blessing that can be.

That's neat you got to meet Christine. I had a great visit with Gaea a few weeks ago. She spent the weekend and I was her tour guide. I go see Jill next month - actually only a couple of weeks away now.

Hugz,

Welcome home Mary! Missed you while you were gone.

Sorry your plane ride wasn't a good one - mine never are but that is because I am scared to death! Not a good thing for the tummy!

Talk to ya soon.... :conversation:
"Let us rise up and be thankful, for if we didn't learn a lot today, at least we learned a little, and if we didn't learn a little, at least we didn't get sick, and if we got sick, at least we didn't die; so, let us all be thankful." -- Buddha
