Hi Darby and Welcome. Sounds to me that you are definitely in the right place. Theres heaps to read here and others who really know what you are going through. So keep browsing and learning and adjusting and we hope you soon begin to notice improvements. Might take some time but patience pays off.

Hi Darby,

The level of sensitivity you are talking about is higher than most people here post about. Generally I hear the people on this site reacting to foods with measurable quantities of gluten. I have read on celiac.com of people who react from touching something that a gluten eater has touched and then not washing before eating. That is scary.

If you have that level of sensitivity you may also want to read the forums on celiac.com or other sites to share with people who have similar levels of problem. Of course, you are still welcome here! You can belong to multiple groups and just drift towards wherever you find the support suits you best or you meet the nicest people.

You may also want to think about the possibility of multiple sensitivities, since many folk here do have more than one thing that upsets them. Perhaps you reacted to fructose in that drink, for example.
