Had my GI appointment!

Post by Dee »

Had a routine office visit because I needed a new script and I am also due for a colonoscopy, which is scheduled for next Friday.
Has anybody used the prep called Movi Prep (so appropriate)???????????????
This is one where you dose at 6pm the night before and again at 6am the morning of.
Before I left I asked the GI if there is any new news on the MC front? And of course, he replied with NO.
I was thinking to myself, Dumb (_!_) !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Dee,

I thought I had tried them all, but if I tried that one, I can't remember it. :headscratch: It can't be as bad as GoLytely, though, since it's only half the volume.

Good luck with both the prep and the exam.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.

Dee,

I used Movi Prep last summer. Only got to drink one glass because I had a reaction to it (headache and tachycardia from my mast cell problem). If I remember correctly the total volume is less than the other swamp water, and maybe tasted only 1/100 better.

Good luck with the colonoscopy!

Used the MoviPrep earlier this year. Not too bad. Of course had the liquid diet, no red prior to drinking. Due to all the liquid before, I had a rather large BM just before I started to drink it. lol Not too bad - can't remember if it comes with a flavor packet or not. Decided to use a packet of crystal light with each serving hah hah!

All in all not too bad - was glad to be able to drink something the morning of the prep.

When I did the go lightly---I thought my tummy would blow out---I actually had to take a suppository to start me running!!!!
Now U figure that out~~~~

Hope all comes out *OK*

Waiting for an explosion, any time now!

Hi Dee, I'll be thinking of you. The whole prep thing is worse than the colonoscopy for me, hope all goes well. JoAnn

Morning Dee,

Well I hope the prep went well and I don't envy you one bit. Will not have another one done - my doc thinks I am nuts but I know what I have and that is it.

Good luck today.

Love, Maggie
