Results of test

Post by Bobbie »

Hi everyone,
Just thought id let you all know the results of the test on wednesday. I was put under anesthetic and had the camera put down my throat results were Cronic Laryngitis due to acid reflux.
Now my problem is that the tablets the hospital have given me are the ones that give me the bad Ds, so i have been looking on the net for another remedy and found something called A.M.P. Molo Cure which on reading it was Aloe Vera, have any of you heard of it. It seemed very expensive to me but then i am not really sure about these things i think it was something like 178dollars for 40 day supply.
Can anyone help with advice on what to try.

Bye for now,
Love Bobbie.

Hi Bobbie.... I had a bleeding ulcer one time and Decided I didn't like what they were giving me...I went to the drug store and bought 100 Percent Aloe Vera Juice...I think you can get it at walmart. Anyway...I filled and 8 oz glass 1/4 aloe vera and the rest Apple juice and drank that 4 times a day....stayed away from any foods that would irritate (which is most everything ) ANyway within about a month, I had no more problem and it hasn't returned. But I may have been the exception and would never reccomend you not listen to your Dr. I think if you are going to go with the Aloe you can get it cheaper than 178.00. I could be wrong...but I would really investigate that. Hope you feel better soon. Love Oma

I know nothing about acid reflux but thought this was a pretty good site you might want to peruse:

Whew, Bobbie!

What a relief to know that it is not anything more serious. Glad that it's over! The website Peg mentioned looks good. Try especially to avoid sodas and citrus drinks like lemonade.

Love,

Polly

I have acid reflux too and my throat was raw on the inside. The meds the GASTRO gave me cause D. How dumb is that when she knew I had CC. Threw me into the worst D episode I had ever had.

I'm sorry you have another cronic condition....I think Aloe is a good choice. I agree with Oma, I bet you can find it lots cheaper.

Hugs,

Lori
