Annie, that's great. I was amazed at how well the simple foods settle. You may want to keep a small notebook for a food diary make notes of what works and what doesn't.
Best wishes

That's great news! Having some food that will stick around long enough to provide some energy, should help you to feel a lot better, too.
I hope you continue to improve.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Dear Annie,
Although I have not yet had the Enterolab tests done and am finally scheduled for another endoscopy and colonoscopy, I have also had luck with Gabes' diet --esp. when I've had a bad day. But it can be hard if you have a family to feed that doesn't want chicken and mushy veggies all the time. If you don't think you react to dairy and soy, I have been able to get some extra nutrition by drinking vanilla flavored Ensure--if it is available there. It is gluten free.
It is not 100% the best as it does have milk protein, soy and sucrose (so far those don't bother me-I think), but it has minerals and vitamins if you think you can tolerate it.
Just another option if available. But as many before have said, everyone is different and reacts differently.
Good luck. I haven't yet gotten to feeling much better even with the Entocort--and I do totally understand about not being able to eat at all. But based on all the hopeful stories here, I'm looking forward to true diagnosis and then a better course of action--GF, etc. if that is what it takes. I'm still waiting, too.
Hang in there,
Robin
