Good Morning, Everyone:

I've been talking with Wayne about the photos we had on the old Board. There are some pretty special ones there of many of us.
Wayne told me he is considering creating a photo site and I thought it would be nice to bring some of the old photos in. Any suggestions as to how we could select them and add them or just start new ones for this site?

What do you think?

I haven't been around much because I've been sewing my little brains out - really obsessed with it right now. I think it's part of the healing process, but my Sister thinks I've inherited the sewing gene. Seems strange that I have taken to it after 45 years of not sewing (home economics at high school turned me off). Anyway, I'm sure enjoying it now and learning fast.
I'm going to take a break over the long weekend (our BC Day is on Monday) and do some housework.

Feeling pretty good other than the regular OA aches, which are part of my life, but under control right now and liveable.

It's a beautiful, sunny morning so I'm off to sit out on the balcony with my cuppa tea.

Have a nice day - Love - Momster

Momster-

Don't know much about the photo thing - we really don't "do" photo websites at all...

Is that picture of you and Pegster?? How cute!!!

I'm glad you are feeling well and enjoying your new sewing obsession (mine is :knitting: ...)

I'm glad you are feeling well as well (or at least as good as it gets these days  )

Have a great weekend!

Love,

Mary

No, it's my Granddaughter, Sara

Hi Mary - no, it's not Peg, but she was a cute baby too. Wouldn't dare to put her baby picture on without asking her first (I'd be in big trouble).

I put this picture on because it was Sara's 15th birthday on July 15th. I'm going to change it today to my lilies on my patio - they're spectacular this year.

Just wondered about the photos because we enjoyed them so much on Sally's site and I think they're still there.

Just popped over there and there appears to be no link to our pictures. Went to Sally's home page and that is where the link used to be. I hope they are not lost forever.

Well Peg,

I thought you meant that you were going to come up with a baby picture. LOL. I'll add one to the custom avatars gallery, if you'll use it.

How 'bout it?

Sally,

Yes, I'll try to get a photo gallery installed and working this weekend, (if at all possible).

Peg,

Ok, I'll post the picture in an hour or so--I have to run finish something at work right quick, and then I'll be back.

Love,
Wayne

I just checked, Niece Peg. When you posted that URL up there, YOU showed the world!!! You and Gaea right in front of the sink with your margaritas!

Wasn't that fun??? Really???

Let's do it again.

Anytime, Auntie, anytime

p.s. The world could see those photos anyway. If you're ever bored for fun Google webshots and anyone's name - you can see everyone and anyone's pics.

I have not checked as of yet, but if you do get some of the pictures from there it would be cool as I had allot of special ones that Sally put up for me too, there are also some that would be universal for anyone to use as an avatar. I think my favorite picture, which I would have to search for is one I took of an empty adorandak chair sitting by a lake surrounded by mountains and trees in the distance. It was taken out in Western Canada when I was living there. But there are also some of my daughters and dogs. It would be cool to make use of them and have something of my very own to use as an avatar. I don't really look like shrek at all in real life!!!

Hi Wendy,

I'll be happy to create a custom avatar for you, if you will just e-mail me an image file of a suitable picture, or tell me where I can find one stored somewhere on the net. I can modify the picture anyway you want, if it needs cropping, touching up, etc.

Hugs,
Tex
