LDN for MS, a personal story
We met the author, Francie Stull, at a dog lure coursing event in north GA when we went to meet some Silken Windhounds. Francie started the breed and they are all DNA tested. They may be AKC recognized some day. We like them but decided we like Borzoi better.

I hope LDN is as good for MC as it is for MS.

Whoa! From the "What to Expect at First" link, that accompanies the article you cited:
If you're going to follow the same basic diet that we have found to work for MC, do you really need the LDN? Like Entocort, it apparently speeds up results, but it is probably the diet that is actually healing the gut, and controlling the symptoms.

http://www.ldn-for-ms.com/expect.htmlAs usual, I need to emphasize that seldom is LDN a stand-alone treatment, but accompanies other strategies their body needs, especially a healthy diet. No sugar, dairy or gluten.

It is suspected that some of the hardest material known to science can be found in the skulls of GI specialists who insist that diet has nothing to do with the treatment of microscopic colitis.
Verrrry interesting........
I never read that part, Tex.

I've never seen that before, either, associated with the treatment. That puts the treatment in an entirely different category.

EnteroLab nurse from a previous post
"Just talked to the EnteroLab nurse about the 0603 and the probability for neurological symptoms. She talked so fast that I couldn't get them all. MEMORY was one that stuck out for me. Others were MS, peripheral neuropathy, headaches, migraines, seizures (don't remember the kind), ADD, bipolar and one I didn't get which I think starts with pl."
When I talked to the nurse she said the diet would help people with those problems and help possibly prevent them in people predisposed to them. That is what I think I remember.

OLD THREAD LDN and MS
Francie's birthday message from a few weeks ago:
"I can't thank everybody enough for the wonderful Happy Birthday wishes. Normally I shrink from birthdays, once you have had a bunch, that is enough, BUT when you start having birthdays that you were told you would never have, they make a difference. I feel better this birthday, over two years from being turned over to hospice, with less than six months to live, than I have in years and years. So, Happy Birthday to myself as well."
I'm confused about the timeline though...........
