Hello, Friends!

Post by Geri »

 I have missed you all really bad. I had a little trouble getting here...I think my new computer hates me...but I'm finally home, and glad to be here.

I am so sad that I missed out on the early days of the new board. My heart was here, though....does that make me kind of a founding member??LOL.

I am doing great. We had the most wonderful family get-together here over the Fourth of July with Sydney. She is doing so good, and it was the first time that she had been able to travel since getting sick. Rhonda and Mike put together a little slide-show of our gathering, along with some pictures of her treatment. If you would like to meet my family, go to
www.caringbridge.org/tn/sydneymarie The Caring Bridge is a site for parents of sick kids, so that they can keep friends and family up-dated on the childs progress. It has been a good outlet for Rhonda. She can journal her thoughts, and Sydney's progress. She now supports other parents who are just begining the journey that she has just come through.

Well, I can't wait to make myself at home, and get to know the new board, and all the new members.

Till later,

Love,

Geri

GERI!!!!! You're back!

:welcome: home! Yippee!! :band: :festive:

Of course, you are a founding member! We haven't had a newbie yet, so everyone here right now is an F.M. Please offer any suggestions/comments you have on any of the articles in the various forums - we developed them by group review. And be sure to add your own experiences with diet/meds when you have a chance.

Oh my, I just went to the website to see Sydney and the family, and I was bawling. The photos, the music, the successes! It's just a miracle, isn't it? What a super little girl! And starting school in two weeks! It's just wonderful! :bear:

Here's a big group hug from your family here! :grouphug:

Love,

Polly

Hi, Polly and Jill! And don't Polly and Miss Barb look too cute? For some reason, that link didn't go directly to her site..once you are at caring bridge, choose Visit a caring bridge site..Directory..choose TN, Site name..choose sydneymarie. That should take you there.

Love,

Geri

Hi, Geri!! And :welcome: HOME!!!!

Thanks for the instructions on how to get to Syd's page. I don't know how Polly is so smart to get there without them.

It is a wonderful site and Sydneymarie is a beautiful little girl. I love her and her friend spraying hand cleaner all over the floor!! That is something I should do in my kitchen.

Love and prayers.

Hi Geri,

It's a pleasure to "see" you posting here, (finally). Welcome back--we've missed you a lot.

I fixed the typo in the link in your post. (I hope you don't mind). You accidentally typed backslashes instead of slashes for the directory separators.

Thanks for the link. It's great to see the update on Sydney.

Love,
Wayne

Geri good to see you. That is a fabulous site! I think Sydney looks great for what she has been though! But what a wonderful way to give support to others going through the same things with their children, but for you also, and your family to share Sydney's progress. She really is a little doll, you would never know she was sick to look at all her smiles, would you?

Welcome back.
