In case you are not familiar already, there is a website, www.celiactravel.com, that has lots of information on traveling with celiac (or needing similar dietary accommodation), including free restaurant cards in many languages that you can present in a restaurant. I used it in Budapest and Switzerland last year and it was a great help.

I thought of another thing I've been enjoying that will make a good snack to have along--Mrs. Mays Trio Bars, available at Costco for $15.99 for 20 bars. The "trio" means 3 nuts, 3 seeds, 3 fruits, and unless you are sensitive to these ingredients, are quite tasty, and only 80 cents each. There are 4 flavors of fruits combinations, such as blueberry.
