My friend Barbara

Post by Sally »

She lives in Palo Alto, California and has been suffering from a mysterious ailment for almost two weeks now and her doctors can't find out what's wrong with her. She has been running a low grade temp, she feels very fatigued, her tongue is swollen and dry, and now the muscles in her calves ache, and she has a rash there. I am not aking for a diagnosis, Polly! I am asking for everyone's prayers. I asked her and she would like your prayers very much. Especially prayers for her peace of mind. She has an anxiety disorder so you can imagine what this is doing to her.

A prayer for her doctors would be good, too.

Thank you all very much.

Lots of love,

Sally

Done Grams.

With all the new illnesses being transmitted to us through bites and so forth, I wonder if maybe that could be a possible source. Just a thought. We have just had the first case of finding dead birds that had West Nile Virus, and now a few people in the hospital with it too. I guess that is why I thought of that.

Add mine as well.

Sally-

I'll keep Barbara in my thoughts and prayers - not knowing is definitely the worst

Sally,
Sure hoping that Barbara will soon have a diagnosis and a treatment plan that will work for her ASAP.

Thank you so much. I sent these replies on to her.

She now is in a lot of pain and the rash has spread to her arms. She is going to the doc this morning again. Unfortunately, it will be a new doc because her regular doc is on vacation. But maybe this is good. A new set of eyes and ears and, hopefully, a brain.

Please, keep on praying for her. I am so worried.

Love,

Sally

I just heard from Barbara and she is not doing well. She is very frightened especially not knowing what is wrong with her. I am sure we can all identify with that. She thanks you all for praying for her and thinks it is a thing of wonder that people are doing this for someone they don't even know. Well, we all KNOW each other, right?

She really needs prayers for her peace of mind, right now. She will see the doctor at 5 this PM and the waiting is hell.

Thanks to everyone.
